Hoy comparto una de mis canciones y vídeos favoritos...

 

Nombre transcrito desde el idioma árabe: Habibi Dah: Nari Narain)" 

Nombre escrito en árabe: "حبيبي ده (ناري نارين "

Traducción al inglés: "That's my love: my fire is two fires"

En español: Ese es mi amor: estoy ardiendo

*Podríamos explicarlo de la siguiente manera, "nari" significa "fuego" en idioma árabe y "ain" o "ein" -dependiendo como lo transcriban- agregado al final de las palabras es un "aumentativo". Es comparable a las palabras árabes, "saaha" y "saahatain" o "saahatein" que se utiliza para desear "buen provecho" a las personas cuando están ingiriendo alimentos. Entonces "saahatein" es como un "saaha" doble.

 

Es un contagioso tema musical indio-árabe romántico y bailable, interpretado por el cantautor egipcio Hisham Abbas y la cantante india, Jayashri. 

 

Como dije, el ritmo es súper contagioso y en el segundo vídeo han transcrito la letra de la canción para que podamos cantarla aunque no conozcamos los idiomas empleados; árabe e hindi moderno.

 

El vídeo se filmó en el año 2002 en la India con la participación de bailarinas de la tradicional danza teatral Kathakali, típica en la zona del estado federal de Kerala en el suroeste del país.

*A propósito es el tema de los vídeos satíricos de la familia palestina en Estados Unidos del canal “Fousey tube” que compartí hace unos días. ¿Recuerdan? El vídeo también se había publicado en el muro de “Azizas Treasure”. ¡Que lo disfruten!

También les he incluido una traducción al inglés que encontré al pie del vídeo a fin de que si vamos a desgalillarnos cantando en idiomas tan poco familiares para los occidentales, que mínimo sepamos lo que estamos diciendo. Yo aquí tengo a Marido loco con el ¡Nari, Narien! ¡Vamos a cantar! Para cantarla: Sustituyan en "Nary Nary" por "Nari Narien", pues quien amablemente transcribió no lo hizo de forma adecuada...
